Bruce did.

Bruce was just 12 years and selling soft drinks at McMahon stadium when he realized two important life lessons: First if you treat people right they’ll buy from you and Second he loved the rush of completing a good sale.

By the time he was 16, Bruce was selling used cars in his mom’s driveway and going to auctions to buy more cars with a note from his mom.

Graduating from school, Bruce knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life … sell new cars.

But being 18 no dealership would hire him … because they thought he was too young and too inexperienced … but then a small RV dealer took a chance on Bruce … and learned everything he could. Five years later he and partner opened their own dealership a dirt lot on 16th ave with a little Atco trailer as an office .. having no money to buy product he invited people to let him sell their used RVs on consignment. The little location started to grow … A few later he added new products and then grew and grew

Eveything he earned he reinvested in the business and in buying land.

When he hired staff they were always paid salary so no pressure

Things did not go awyas go well … and he once had to sell his wife car to make payroll

Today, the company Bruce Urban started 25 years ago with a partner has 13 locations, across Western Canada, over 250 employees … and shuts down for a week every year so Bruce can take his staff on an all-inclusive holiday … Western RV
