Ingvar did.
Ingvar grew up in a small village in a tough time. From a young age he was a seller... at six he was selling matches... by ten he was selling Christmas decorations, fish and pencils. So when he turned 17, it was time for him to take his skills turn them into a business. With a little help from his father he started a company selling all sorts of items. His business was quite successful and he kept adding other items to sell. He began selling furniture at a low cost.... so low that manufacturers started boycotting Ingvar’s company. Determined to not let this affect his business, he decided to design those items boycotted in-house. He created his items in a way that was simple, affordable and modern. He did this because he wanted to to create items that everyone could buy. People started flocking to his stores due to his design and prices. From then on, his business began growing and growing. Starting in Europe it expanded and expanded eventually moved all over the world.
Today, Ingvar’s company has 300 stores in over 38 countries. The company is named after Ingvar Kamprad from Elmyaryd, Agunnaryd, Sweden.... IKEA
