Chris & Scott did.

In 1979, Chris and Scott worked for the Montreal Gazette and the Canadian Press respectively … and, over a few beers, were trying to play a game of Scrabble. But the Scrabble box was missing some tiles so … they decided to come up with their own game. And within an hour had a rough idea on paper. But knowing they knew little about creating a successful game they decided to

After two long years of pursuing their dream, they launched the game with a thousand copies and attended various trade shows across North America … but got no real interest from buyers.
