Joanne did …

Like many people, the magic of inspiration hits them when they least expect it. Joanne was on a train trip when she suddenly had a great big idea … so when she got home she wrote it down and kept working on it.

But life soon interfered. Joanne’s mother died. She got married. She moved to Portugal. She had a daughter. She got divorced.

Eventually, she found herself back at home, without a job … and feeling like a big failure. Strangely, she also felt liberated. After all, she was still alive, she had a beautiful daughter, a typewriter and she had a big idea.
