Mark did.

Mark grew up in California … into a family that that ironically got along well … He originally wanted to be a lawyer … but ended working as dj at a San Francisco radio station … where he also hosted a quiz show .. he was so good at announcing he moved to New York City and promptly started hosting all sorts of radio shows … life was good for Mark until something totally unexpected happened .. he developed stage fright. He’d been a talker and performer his whole life … and now he couldn’t say a word in front of a microphone … at all … and he soon lost all his announcing jobs .. so to provide for his young family … he wrote and sold a dramatic tv show … and then leveraging his background he partnered with a friend to create a new type of game show. Well that went well .. so, he came with another show and then another … Mark’s game show innovations made his shows stand out .. innovations like simultaneous multiple players, a response buzzer that “locked out” other players and a returning champion.

Today, the television game shows Mark Goodson created after he was overcome by stage fright are legendary :What’s My Line?, I’ve Got A Secret, To Tell the Truth, Concentration, The Price Is Right, Match Game, and the most successful one … the one that still runs in multiples market around the world everfyday … Family Feud
