Lizzie did …

Lizzie loved games ... She made them up all the time and then give them to her friends to play. One game called Mock Trial was eventually purchased by Parker Brothers … but then quickly forgotten.

Lizzie loved games … but didn’t like landlords. She thought they took unfair advantage of working people. She believed, as some others did, that a single tax on landlords could replace all other taxes … and stop rampant land speculation.

So Lizzie doing what she does best … created a game to educate people about the single tax … and got a patent on it.

Soon people all over were playing her game … and then creating their own modified versions … Parker Brother bought one of these modified versions but since Lizzie owned the patent, Parker Brothers had to buy the rights from her, which they did.

Today, the game Lizzie originally created to educate people about tax theory is the number one game of all time …. And still sell millions of copies each year for Parker Brothers … Monopoly
