Will did …

Will had a Grade 6 education … and worked a variety of odd jobs. Will’s older brother was the Chief Physician at a famous hospital and health spa who got him a job there working as a clerk.

Almost immediately Will became fascinated by both medicine and good nutrition … a passion he shared with his older brother.

One day Will was looking for a simple bread substitute when he boiled some wheat, let it stand and then baked it. The result as surprising tasty, easy to eat cereal. They tested it on patients and the patients loved it. In fact, they wanted more of it even after they left the hospital and spa. So the brothers started a mail order company to ship it on a small scale.

But Will wasn’t finished … he tried the technique on corn … the result was an even better and tastier cereal. Well Will’s brother was happy with just doing mail order … But Will wanted to create a packaged food manufacturer and do it big… and that’s exactly what he did.

Today, Will’s company manufactures all type of food products and is recognized worldwide with sales of over $13 billion annually … and it all started with a cereal Will Kellogg created for patients in a hospital/spa … Corn Flakes.
