Bus Da Move

Jean did.

Jean grew up in Calgary, to French speaking parents from Quebec. He loved nature and all the outdoors that Southern Alberta had to offer. He loved it so much he got work at Golden Acre Home & Garden … every day people would come in looking for gardening advice and Jean knew all the tips to help people take action … but when it came to trees people just weren’t as comfortable so regularly asked Jean for the name of a good tree care company .. Jean just didn’t know anyone who cared about trees as much as he did … that’s when he had a great idea … why not start his own tree service? There were just two small problems. First he didn’t have much money and second, he didn’t own a truck … but that didn’t stop Jean … He landed his first job and then rode a Calgary Transit bus, tools in hand, to get there. And then he landed another job and then another.

Today, the company Jean started by taking a ride on a Calgary Transit bus, has a fleet of trucks, a crew of 10 and serves over 1,000 clients every year all over the city. And it’s still named after the nickname Jean earned at the Garden Centre for his love of trees and his French-Speaking Quebec heritage – Tree Frog Tree Care

Tree Frog Tree Care is a great idea … because planting the right ideas and then pruning them regularly can help you build a sustainable business.
