Satoshi did.

Satoshi grew up loving the outdoors and catching and collecting as many insects as he could … but when he was indoors he loved playing video games. After a while, he got to thinking … maybe he could design his own game … so he did … by taking apart a game console and learning how to program it.

Well a manufacturer liked his game and Satoshi had found his true calling.

One day, he saw two kids playing with connected consoles … and suddenly thought that maybe his next game could include sharing his childhood love of collecting insects with others … so he created Capsule Monsters!

This time, though the game was a much, much harder sell, but Satoshi finally found a manufacturer willing to fund it … then spent the next 6 years finetuning it before it launched.

Today, 25 years later, Capsule Monsters is incredibly popular worldwide thru video games, TV shows, movies, card games and one crazy popular app … but a trademark issue early on forced a name change … from Capsule Monsters to Pocket Monsters … still don’t recognize Pocket Monsters … how about the short form … Pok-e-mon

Pokemon is a great idea … because even something as simple collecting insects can lead you to change the world.
